Dive into the Unknown

“Courage is mastery of fear, not absence of fear.”

~ Mark Twain

A number of years ago, my 20 year old nephew left for Taiwan to teach English and learn Mandarin. We went for a farewell hike and I asked him what he was looking forward to most. He thought about it for a while and then replied:

“I’m looking forward to being uncomfortable so I have to grow and evolve…to feeling like I’m going to pass out from fatigue because my brain can’t compute the language yet…to feeling completely vulnerable and on the edge surrounded by the unknown…to being pushed beyond my limits and discovering what I’m made of.”

I was impressed. Being uncomfortable in order to expand and transform is a great stepping stone to carry a victory with you for the rest of your life.

All transformation takes courage. To become a better person; to have more success; to expand in consciousness and transform your life often requires uncomfortable choices. Everyone on earth is now being faced with choices that will seed the direction of their lives.

Be brave, do what it takes to reach your dreams, write out your intentions and goals, think big and be careful what you ask for because every choice carries more power than ever before.

Blessings on your courageous life journey my friends
